A handsome gentleman, Briggs rather considered the showring somehow beneath him. Consequently, he was never Specialed although he did make an appearance one w/e in 2003 and managed to win the Group! He also won a huge Best Puppy In Show and Best Of Breed over Specials on his way to his Championship. A National Specialty AOM winner (2001 judge Mrs. Gail Miller) and a Regional Specialty AOM winner (2002 judge Mrs. Sue O'Brien, Sammara), Briggs' true calling is as a stud dog who to date has 9 Champion get.
Briggs' is known around home as the Hall Monitor. His self-appointed job is to keep the Beardies, our Norwegian Forest Cat, and our daughter Jackie in line! Jackie & Briggs have been fast friends ever since his arrival.
Briggs sired Stevie's final litter in July 2004. Ricoh and his brother Sirius are starting to make their mark in the showring. Sirius (Ragtyme Bring Down the House) has already finished his Championship after taking RWD at the 2005 BCCA National Specialty. We wish his owners Ginny Aulik & Kathy Finley continued success as well as Juliana Horowski in Germany with another litterbrother Ragtyme Bring On The Reign ('Cloud').
